USD Alum works with scholarship program for Sudanese refugees
With help from friends in Coronado, Encinitas and USD, Daniel Akech James founded a scholarship program for student refugees from Sudan (http://sudanscholarship.com)
There are currently 102 "Sudan Scholars." The scholarship process includes screening and selection, searching for boarding schools, placing students into boarding schools and paying for uniforms and school fees.
